4) Adverb - क्रियाविशेषण
क्रियापद अथवा वक्यातील क्रियादर्शक शब्दाविषयी/ शब्दासमुहाविषयी अधिकची विशेष माहिती सांगणाऱ्या शब्दांना किँवा शब्दसमूहाला क्रियाविशेषण असे म्हणतात.
सोप्या शब्दात क्रियापदाचे वर्णन करणाऱ्या शब्दास क्रियाविशेषण असे म्हणतात.

Adverbs of Manner
क्रियेची पद्धत दर्शविणाऱ्या क्रियाविषेशनास Adverbs of Manner असे म्हणतात.
The manner in which something is done or takes place is called Adverb of Manner.
Some adverbs commonly used to express this are; quickly, quietly, fast,,slowly, immediately, simultaneously, loudly, angrily, carefully, eagerly, easily, energetically, happily, slowly, wistfully, etc.
Adverbs of Degree
प्रमाण दर्शक क्रीया विशेषणांना Adverbs of degree असे म्हणतात.
The Adverbs that describe the degree to which something is done is Adverbs of Degree.
For example. barely, completely, considerably, deeply, greatly, hardly, highly, immensely, partly, rather, strongly, and utterly
Adverbs of Frequency
वारंवारता दर्शक क्रियाविशेषणांना Adverbs of Frequency असे म्हणतात.
Adverbs that tells the rate at which something is done is called Adverb of frequency.
For example. Regularly, every day, never, rarely etc.
Adverbs of Place
स्थळ दर्शक क्रियाविशेषणांना Adverbs of Place असे म्हणतात.
Words which describe the location where the action of the verb takes place is called Adverb of Place.
For Example. there, here, anywhere, someplace, abroad, upstairs, nearby, nowhere, below, in, out,forward, etc.
Adverbs of Time
वेळ/काळ दर्शवण्यासाठी वापरलेल्या क्रियाविशेषणांना Adverbs of Time असे म्हणतात.
The words which describe the time when something is done is called Adverb of Time.
For Examples. always,currently, immediately, now, often, recently, tomorrow, frequently, then, soon, today, etc.
Adverbs of Probability
शक्यता दर्शक क्रियाविशेषणांना Adverbs of Probability असे म्हणतात.
Adverb that describes the probability or likelihood of something to take place is called Adverb of Probability.
For example. impossibly, surely, unlikely, probably, possibly, certainly, etc.
Adverbs of Purpose
हेतू/उद्देश दर्शविणाऱ्या क्रियाविशेषणांना Adverbs of Purpose असे म्हणतात.
The words those express the reason or the need of something being done is called Adverb of Purpose. Adverbs of Purpose these are mostly infinitive phrases.
For example.
Andy work out frequently to keep up in shape.
She studies English grammar to improve her English.
I’m studying harder to make good grades.
Every morning she wakes up early to get the first bus to work.
Faith prays every day to keep up with her tasks.
वरील प्रकारा व्यतिरिक्त काही phrases (शब्दासमुह) देखील Adverb म्हणून काम करतात.
